LogicFlo AI, a Boston‑based AI platform tailored for the life‑sciences sector, has raised $ 2.7 million in a seed round led by Lightspeed Ventures, with participation from leading healthcare and enterprise‑AI investors.

The new capital will fuel LogicFlo AI’s global expansion across pharmaceutical, biotech and medtech organisations and deepen deployments with existing clients, including a Fortune 500 company already under contract.

The company’s platform replaces fragmented tools and repetitive processes with intelligent AI agents that operate under human guidance to streamline high‑compliance workflows in regulatory affairs, medical writing, quality assurance and medical information.

Early adopters report dramatic efficiency gains: medical‑writing timelines cut from weeks to minutes and information‑request turnaround reduced from nearly two weeks to just two days.

Founded by Udith Vaidyanathan and Arun Ramakrishnan, LogicFlo AI positions its agents as “automation for people,” empowering experts to focus on high‑value scientific work while the platform handles routine tasks.

“We are at a once‑in‑a‑generation inflection point,” said Vaidyanathan. “AI agents are now capable of meaningful productivity gains in regulated scientific work—inevitable, not just possible—while keeping experts at the centre.”

Ramakrishnan added, “Traditional automation fails life sciences because it’s too rigid. Our agents are intelligent, composable and production‑ready, understanding the nuance of scientific processes.”

Lightspeed’s Rohil Bagga, VP Investments, praised the founders’ domain expertise and technical vision: “LogicFlo AI empowers medical‑affairs and commercial teams with agentic workflows that dramatically boost productivity. We’re excited to support their transformation of a critical industry.”

With its seed funding secured, LogicFlo AI plans to accelerate product development, expand integrations with major life‑sciences platforms such as Veeva and IQVIA, and grow its go‑to‑market and engineering teams to meet surging demand. As regulated enterprises increasingly seek scalable, specialist AI solutions, LogicFlo AI aims to become the foundational layer for scientific knowledge work at scale.
