Expert DOJO, a leading US-based early-stage venture capital firm, has announced the launch of its first India-focused startup accelerator cohort. As part of this program, the firm will invest $100,000 each in over 10 startups across sectors such as technology, artificial intelligence, electric vehicles (EV), B2B, and more.

Beyond capital, selected startups will gain access to Expert DOJO’s global investor network, hands-on mentorship, and strategic growth support. The initiative is designed to help Indian early-stage startups strengthen their business models, scale into new markets, and accelerate their journey toward future funding rounds.

The cohort aims to address key challenges faced by Indian founders, including limited global capital access, restricted market reach, and a shortage of international mentorship. This initiative follows Expert DOJO’s earlier announcement of a $15 million India-focused fund, with plans to invest in 20–25 early-stage Indian startups by FY 2026. While sector-agnostic, the fund will prioritize high-growth areas like fintech, SaaS, B2B, and AI.

Brian Mac Mahon, Founder and Managing Partner at Expert DOJO, said, “Our mission has always been to help early-stage founders cross the toughest hurdles not just with capital, but with deep strategic support and global market access. India’s innovation ecosystem is thriving, and we’re eager to discover bold founders ready to scale their ideas internationally.”

Ashutosh Kumar, General Partner at Expert DOJO, added, “India is not just a market for us it’s a priority. From metro cities to remote regions, we see founders tackling real, pressing problems. Our fund is more than financial backing; it’s a long-term commitment to Indian entrepreneurship.”

The India cohort is part of Expert DOJO’s ongoing mission to empower international founders and bridge the funding gap for ventures outside Silicon Valley. The firm’s accelerator and fund have already supported over 300 startups from 40+ countries, reinforcing its position as a launchpad for globally scalable, high-impact companies.

Startups interested in applying to the program can now submit their applications via the Expert DOJO platform.
