Yes Bank Share Price: The private bank's stock experienced a sharp rally on Monday. Yes Bank's share price surged over 8% on the National Stock Exchange as investor interest remained on edge ahead of its board meeting scheduled for June 3, 2025 (Tuesday). According to the company's exchange filing, the board of directors will consider raising funds via equity shares, debt securities or other methods.

At 3:00 pm, Yes Bank shares were trading at ₹23.25 price level, up by 8.24% on the NSE.

"..this is to inform that the meeting of the Board of Directors of YES Bank Limited (“the Bank”) is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, June 03, 2025, inter alia, to consider raising of funds by way of issuance of equity shares, debt securities and/or any other eligible securities (convertible/non-convertible) through permissible modes, including but not limited to a private placement, preferential issue or any other method or combination of methods, subject to such approvals as may be required," the company stated in its exchange filing.

For designated people of the bank and their immediate relatives, the trading window for Yes Bank shares will remain closed from May 29, 2025, to June 5, 2025. The fundraising meeting comes at a time when Japanese financial firm Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) is set to buy Yes Bank's 20% stake. The State Bank of India will sell a 13.19% stake in YES Bank to SMBC.

In the last month alone, the shares of the banking firm have surged by over 31% on the NSE. In the last 6 months, Yes Bank shares have witnessed a rise of more than 16%.

Currently, the shares are trading at ₹194 price level, down by around 15% from its 52-week high of ₹229. So far this year, the shares of the firm have comfortably remained in the green territory, witnessing a rise of over 18.75%.
