Boxing legend and Olympic medallist MC Mary Kom has confirmed her divorce from Onkholer Kom or Onler. She informed that both of them had finalised their divorce with mutual consent.
Recently, a post on social media went viral about her divorce and her affair with another boxer's husband. A two-page post on X, under the letterhead of Rajat Mathur, Advocate Supreme Court, shared on Mary Kom's handle said, "The rumours regarding my client's relationship involvement with Mr. Hitesh Choudhary or being in a relationship with another boxer's husband, are categorically denied and should not be propagated by any media platform." It further clarified that both are just stricly "under business collaboration relationship."
The 42-year-old boxer, Mangte Chungneijang “Mary” Kom, is the first Indian female boxer to win a gold medal in the Asian Games in 2014 and the first Indian female boxer to win gold at the Commonwealth Games in 2018.
