Ashoka University has announced a Special Admissions Round for its 2025 undergraduate intake, exclusively for students who hold confirmed offers from colleges and universities in the United States.
The initiative, the university said, aims to support students and families to seeking academic continuity and a world-class education, as they navigate increasing concerns around safety, visa delays and shifting global policies. It offers an alternative pathway to academic continuity and a globally recognised education within India.
The application window for this special round is open from 16 June to 30 June 2025. To be eligible, applicants must submit a confirmed offer of admission from a US-based institution. They are also required to upload the original application form submitted to that institution.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to take part in an on-the-spot essay and an interview as part of the selection process.
Notably, the special round is also open to students currently enrolled in US-based institutions who may be considering a transfer. However, students who have already applied to Ashoka University for the 2025 intake are not eligible to apply through this round.
