HDB Financials, the subsidiary company of HDFC Bank, will make its primary debut on June 25, 2025 (Wednesday). The public offering comes after a long delay. The market watchdog, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), had withheld approval of the IPO documents for about four months.

The non-banking finance arm (NBFC) of India's largest private lender, HDFC Bank, is one of the most awaited IPOs of this year. The bidding window for the public issue will open on June 25, 2025, and close on June 27, 2025 (Friday).

HDB Financial IPO Listing

The NBFC is raising ₹12,500 crore via the public offering, which consists a combination of fresh issues worth ₹2,500 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of ₹10,000 crore. The tentative date of listing is fixed for next month, July 2, 2025.

HDB Financial IPO GMP

GMP or grey market premium signals the price level at which the shares of the company trade in the grey market before hitting the official bourses.

At 11:20, the shares of HDB Financial were trading at a GMP of ₹89, marking a premium of over 12.03% as per InvestorGain website.

HDB Financial IPO Price Band

The NBFC has set the price band between the range of ₹700 to ₹740 per share. The minimum lot size is 20 shares, meaning investors need to apply for at least 20 shares or in multiples thereof to participate in the bidding.

For non-institutional investors, the minimum investment for small NIIs (sNII) is 14 lots or 280 shares (₹2,07,200), while for big NIIs (bNII), it is 68 lots or 1,360 shares (₹10,06,400).

Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors Ltd., Jefferies India Pvt. Ltd., Morgan Stanley India Company Pvt. Ltd., BNP Paribas, JM Financial Ltd., Bofa Securities India Ltd., Goldman Sachs (India) Securities Pvt. Ltd., HSBC Securities & Capital Markets Pvt Ltd., IIFL Capital Services Ltd., Nomura Financial Advisory and Securities (India) Pvt. Ltd., Nuvama Wealth Management Ltd. and UBS Securities India Pvt. Ltd. are the book running lead managers of the HDB Financial IPO.

MUFG Intime India is the registrar for the issue.

Is the Company Profitable?

HDB Financial reported a total revenue of ₹16,300.28 crore in FY25. Profit after tax (PAT) for the same period stood at ₹2,175.92 crore. For the year-ago period (FY24), the overall revenue figure stood at ₹14,171.12 crore. PAT stood at ₹2,460.84 crore.
