PGIM India Asset Management on Thursday announced the appointment of Abhishek Tiwari as its new chief executive officer (CEO), effective September 1.
Tiwari succeeds Ajit Menon, who served as the CEO for the past seven years.
Menon would continue as Senior Advisor with the firm, providing strategic guidance effective September 1, PGIM India Asset Management said in a statement.
Tiwari has been with PGIM India AMC for over seven years, most recently serving as the company's Chief Business Officer.
"Abhishek's deep understanding of our business, his visionary leadership, and his unwavering commitment to innovation makes him the ideal person to lead PGIM India AMC into its next chapter," David Chang, Vice Chairman Asia, Global Wealth at PGIM, said.
