Teams picked for ICC Champions Trophy
The teams for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 were picked based on the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. The top 8 teams out of the total 10-team points table were selected to play. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand are in Group A, while Australia, Afghanistan, England and South Africa are in Group B. The eight teams first played against others in its group once, and then the top two teams from both groups made it to the semi-finals, followed by the winners facing off in the finals today.
