Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), the country’s largest insurer, was allotted half of the total shares offered. Other prominent participants in the QIP include Societe Generale, Morgan Stanley, and Vikasa India EIF I Fund, each receiving more than 5% of the shares issued.
