The Jamshyd Godrej-led Godrej Enterprises Group has secured a contract from aircraft engine maker Pratt & Whitney to manufacture complex aerospace components for aircraft engine applications, the company announced in a release on Thursday. The contract will significantly enhance the company’s offerings in aircraft engine technologies and production volumes.
The Aerospace division of Godrej Enterprises currently operates around 35,000 sq. metres of aerospace manufacturing capacity in India, with an additional 48,500 sq. metres under development. The company stated that this agreement reinforces Godrej’s commitment to advancing India’s aerospace manufacturing capabilities and aligns with its vision to become a key supplier to global aircraft engine OEMs.

Godrej Aerospace, a division of Godrej & Boyce, is already a certified Tier-1 supplier of precision aerospace components, assemblies, and systems to leading global OEMs such as Honeywell, GE Aerospace, Rolls-Royce, Boeing, and Safran. The company manufactures parts for turbine engines, complex sheet metal assemblies, and fabricated components.
