Copper prices fell ₹17.95 to ₹1,152.50 per kilogram in the futures trade on Wednesday, weighed down by muted demand in the domestic spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper for April delivery slipped ₹17.95, or 1.58%, to ₹1,152.50 per kg in a business turnover of 2,375 lots.

Traders said subdued domestic demand from consuming industries weighed on copper prices in futures trade
