I loved reading Sherlock Holmes and Tintin comics as a child. These days, I prefer management books such as Pavan Varma’s Adi Shankaracharya and Sourav Ganguly’s A Century is Not Enough. The former is a great book on leadership that teaches you how to push yourself constantly.

I am an absolute audiophile and listen to all kinds of music — from jazz to rock to ghazals. Some of the best artists in my opinion are Pink Floyd, Rainbow, Jagjit Singh, Lata Mangeshkar and of course, Kishore Kumar.

I love the Avengers series and watch every Marvel or DC movie. Besides those, I enjoy watching historical fiction related to India or World War II. Saving Private Ryan is one of my favourite films.

I’ve been playing cricket all my life, but picked up golf almost 20 years ago. After being formally coached, I started competing in golf tournaments. I love the sport because you can play it alone peacefully and compete with yourself.

Being from Hyderabad, I love spicy and delectable dishes such as biryani and kebabs. Bukhara in ITC Maurya is one of my favourite restaurants, while mutton korma from Kareem’s is one of the best dishes money can buy
