Meals like home

ItsMyMeal offers an alternative to boring office canteen food

Sanjay Singh, an IT professional, was fed up of the tasteless food served at the office canteen. But the only other choice was to order from restaurants that dented his finances and caused health problems. Then his colleague recommended ItsMyMeal, from where he ordered lunch and now he’s hooked to the tasty, home-cooked meals.

“We empathise with our customers since we, too, have worked in offices,” says Nikhil Gupta, co-founder. An IIM Kozhikode passout, Gupta partnered with Neeraj Kumar, an IIT engineer and Anoop Agarwal, a CA, to start ItsMyMeal. In fact, Gupta and Kumar hit upon the idea during a lunchtime conversation.

Started in Bangalore, it has one kitchen at HSR Layout with two more planned in the city. The kitchen can deliver to 1,000 packs of lunch, snacks and dinner per day. Expansion to all metros is on the cards, but with an eye on hygiene, tasty food and on-time delivery. Just like home.
