My Favourite

I have two particular favourites when it comes to movies — The Bridges of Madison County, which is a romantic drama film and is an excellent portrayal of different faces of human emotions, and Whose Life is it Anyway?, which is a thought-provoking film on euthanasia.

I like being near water. So, the Jumeirah Vittaveli Hotel in Maldives and Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, are my preferred destinations. While the former is calm and soothing, the latter is full of action and energy. And both have one thing in common — the sound of water.

I am a fan of the creative energy that defines the fashion showcased in Milan, Italy, especially Via Montenapoleone and 10 Corso Como. Retail therapy is at its best there.

Food has to be Japanese, and not necessarily sushi. In fact, deep in the suburbs of Tokyo there are some amazing restaurants dating back to the 19th century, where I love to eat.

Among all art forms, sculpture intrigues me the most. One of my prized possessions is a stone piece by Lorenzo Quinn, a sculptor and son of Hollywood star Anthony Quinn, called Trust.
