India-Pakistan Ceasefire Highlights: Just hours after the 'truce' deal, Pakistan violated the ceasefire as explosions were heard in various districts of Jammu and Kashmir. The authorities began enforcing a blackout in areas, including Srinagar, Udhampur, and others. Besides Jammu and Kashmir, a complete blackout has also been imposed in some districts of Punjab and Rajasthan. Today evening, India and Pakistan have agreed to announce a ceasefire and halt military actions on land, in the air, and at sea. The ceasefire came into effect from May 10 at 5 PM IST. After three days of escalated tension and military action between India and Pakistan, US President Donald Trump was the first to announce that both parties had agreed to a full and immediate ceasefire. Trump also claimed that the US mediated peace talks between the two nuclear-armed neighbours. Trump posted this on his social media platform, Truth Social, congratulating both countries on using "Common Sense" and "Great Intelligence". It was agreed that both sides would stop all firing and military activity and hold the next round of talks on May 12.

He was affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba. He received a guard of honour at his funeral by the Pakistan Army and his funeral prayer was held in a government school, led by Hafiz Abdul Rauf of JuD (a designated global terrorist). A serving Lt. General of the Pakistan Army attended the prayer ceremony.

2. Hafiz Muhammed Jameel

He was affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammed and he is the eldest brother-in-law of Maulana Masood Azhar. He was actively involved in radical indoctrination of youth and fundraising for JeM.

3. Mohammad Yusuf Azhar alias Ustad Ji alias Mohd Salim alias Ghosi Sahab

He was also a member of JeM and a brother-in-law of Maulana Masood Azhar. Azhar handled weapons training for JeM. He was involved in multiple terrorist attacks in Jammu & Kashmir and was wanted in the IC-814 hijacking case.

4. Khalid alias Abu Akasha

He was affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba and was involved in multiple terrorist attacks in Jammu & Kashmir. He was engaged in weapons smuggling from Afghanistan. His funeral was also attended by senior Pakistani Army officials and the Deputy Commissioner of Faisalabad.

5. Mohammad Hassan Khan

His affiliation was with JeM. He was the son of Mufti Asghar Khan Kashmiri, operational commander of JeM in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Hassan Khan played a key role in coordinating terrorist attacks in Jammu & Kashmir.
