IndiGo's reservation system restored on Friday after facing intermittent issues for the second time this week.
Glitch poses an early challenge for new CEO Willie Walsh, who took charge on August 3.
IndiGo was fined ₹22.20 crore in December after pilot rostering issues led to 4,500 flight cancellations.
IndiGo's reservation system was restored on Friday, hours after the airline faced intermittent booking issues for the second time this week. The disruption prevented customers from making ticket reservations through the airline's website and app.
The repeated glitches present an early challenge for CEO Willie Walsh, who took over on August 3, less than five months after his predecessor Pieter Elbers stepped down amid scrutiny over a major operational breakdown at the airline.
Earlier on Friday, IndiGo's website carried an advisory identical to one issued on Wednesday, citing "intermittent issues" with its core reservation platform. It remained unclear whether Friday's problems were connected to the earlier disruption or whether that issue had been fully resolved by then.
Reuters reported that customers were unable to book tickets through the airline's website, which displayed a "no data available" message when searches were made for flights. Some users also reported difficulty logging into the app. On IndiGo's X handle, several users complained on Friday about failed bookings, along with issues completing web check-ins and payment confirmations.

IndiGo had faced scrutiny in December after pilot rostering problems led to the cancellation of around 4,500 flights, stranding tens of thousands of passengers and disrupting travel nationwide. The crisis stemmed from the airline's failure to adapt pilot rosters to new Flight Duty Time Limitation norms enforced by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. The aviation regulator fined IndiGo ₹22.20 crore over the scheduling crisis.
The airline held a 67% share of India's domestic aviation market in July.
