Favourite Book

I always like to read about history to connect the past with the present and look towards the future. Nelson Mandela’s autobiography, Long Walk to Freedom, is inspiring as it throws light on his endurance and patience which are remarkable and difficult to emulate.

Favourite Movie

Elippathayam (Rat Trap), a 1982 Malayalam film, is a stunning example of a perfect marriage between art and technology. Set in rural Kerala, the movie depicts the challenges of a feudal family heir who is unable to accept the socio-economic changes of the present. Adoor Gopalakrishnan, the film’s director, is one of the best filmmakers in the world with a keen eye for detail.

Favourite Sport

I like playing badminton as it combines fun and exercise and sweats you out while making you burn calories.

Favourite Food

Eating Kerala Sadya, a traditional banquet of about 25 vegetarian dishes prepared during festivals like Onam, in a group evokes feelings of nostalgia and camaraderie. It also happens to be a well-balanced meal with food items high in nutritional value.

Favourite Destination

My family and I have lived in Manila for about four years and they thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The Philippines is a beautiful country with about 7,600 islands and towns like Tagaytay, situated south of Manila, overlooking the Taal Lake and the Taal Volcano.
