A movie that inspires you…
I believe in the philosophy of YOLO - You Only Live Once. And Zoya Akhtar’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara echoes my credo, of living life to the fullest.

...and a song?
Piano Man by Billy Joel. The lyrics remind me to be true to myself and live my dreams every day.

How do you de-stress?
I regularly go running or make time for gym or yoga. Spending time with loved ones and photography, which is also something I am passionate about, are also de-stressing.

Lowest point in your life? How did you deal with it?
After a year at Apollo Tyres, just when I thought things were going in the right direction, I was rendered jobless. My role at the company had become redundant after a restructuring exercise. I did not know what to do next. So, I took a sabbatical, travelled to places that I had always wanted to go to such as Pushkar during the camel fair, Benaras for dev deepawali and Kolkata for the pujo. Reconnecting with old friends and doing things I had always wanted to do helped me restart.

An anecdote or lesson you’d like to share?
In life, things can happen that can suck the energy right out of you. Therefore, it is absolutely essential to have creative pursuits.
