Fountainhead by Ayn Rand is one of my favourites in fiction. The book perfectly binds together art, creativity, drama, romance and competitive thrill. It also beautifully depicts the struggle of an architect, who’s a simple man fighting for individuality and survival in the society.

I prefer comedies and thrillers. 3 Idiots is a film I enjoyed watching because it is well directed and has inspiring characters.

I used to be very enthusiastic about field sports such as hockey, cricket and football and participated in major school and university tournaments. I also played tennis, but of late, I hit the gym for fitness, resilience, better focus and productivity.

I really enjoy a well-prepared classic Bloody Mary in the daytime during holidays. My evening cocktail is a Negroni with dry vermouth instead of sweet. Occasionally, I also prefer whisky on the rocks. My wine pick would be a Cabernet Sauvignon.

A place that I could keep revisiting is undoubtedly London. Its vibrant energy is very appealing. Being in London is like having the world at your feet; from culture and people to cuisine and entertainment, everything is great. Another exciting foreign destination to visit is Amsterdam. It has an equally rich culture and architecture; best attractions being the Van Gogh Museum and the Heineken Beer Museum. But when I am looking for solitude, I backpack to Leh and Ladakh. It feels good to escape the cacophony of the metro cities for a while.
