While the purpose of social enterprise is helping people, it’s ironical that these entrepreneurs face problems in recruiting and retaining talent. Abhishek Bhati and Mathew Manimala highlight innovative strategies adopted by such enterprises to overcome such problems — offering jobs to people with vision and value congruence, enhancing the credibility of the organisation through brand building, providing growth opportunities, finding employees from among beneficiaries and so on. In conclusion, the study suggests that a ‘partnership paradigm’ works best.
