About The Author
Rijit Sengupta is CEO of the Centre for Responsible Business (CRB), with ~30 years of experience across Asia, Africa and Europe. His work sits at the intersection of business and society — spanning environment management, consumer protection, sustainable entrepreneurship, and the SDGs. He has led programmes across Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia and Southeast Asia, and currently focuses on India while also advocating for North-South sustainability dialogue and South-South cooperation. He holds a Master's in Agriculture and a Postgraduate degree in Environment Management from the University of Calcutta, IISWBM (India) and the United Nations University, Tokyo.
