A movie that inspires you…
I don’t have a favourite but I loved watching the Mahabharata series on television. In terms of story telling, I can’t think of a more complete package. It teaches you values, and Krishna is my favourite character.

...and a song?
Ruk Jana Nahin Tum Kahin Haar Ke from Imtihan.

When anxiety sets in?
Cooking, something I’ve learnt from my mother. I typically cook on the weekends, but if I have had a tough day at work, I go home and pull out the pans. It works instantly. My family and friends claim to love my chicken and mutton kebabs.

Other ways to de-stress?
I take things as they come and don’t worry excessively about things I cannot change.

Lowest point in your life? How did you deal with it?
It was when I lost my father. He was my go-to person for everything. It happened 25 years ago and my wife helped me get through that difficult time.

An anecdote or lesson you’d like to share?
My father taught me a lot of things but the one thing I have kept close to my heart is to be good to people during your good times. So, when the bad times come, even if they don’t help you, they won’t hurt you.
