Saif Ali Khan Attacked at Home: Know About His Properties, Net Worth

Actor Saif Ali Khan is undergoing surgery after he was attacked in an attempted theft at his Mumbai residence in the early hours of Thursday. His family confirmed the incident in a statement and mentioned that the 54-year-old actor is currently receiving treatment at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital.

“There was an attempted burglary at Saif Ali Khan’s residence. He is currently in hospital undergoing surgery...It is a police matter. We will keep you updated on the situation,” an official statement by the family stated.

The incident has shocked the film industry especially the actor’s friends and fans, who have wished him a speedy recovery via social media posts.

The unfortunate event has also sparked conversations around Saif Ali Khan’s wealth and royal lineage.

Saif Ali Khan’s Net Worth

Khan, often dubbed as the “Nawab of Bollywood”, comes from the royal family of Nawabs of Pataudi. Born to cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and actress Sharmila Tagore, he started his acting career with the movie Parampara in 1993 and has gone on to forge a legacy for himself beyond his royal lineage.

As per CNBC TV18, his net worth in 2023 was estimated at $150 million which is nearly Rs 1,300 crore at the present exchange rate. This is also attributed to Khan's brand endorsements, personal investments, and business ventures beyond his acting profession.

The report also mentioned that the actor earns around Rs 30 crore annually and has increased his fees by 70 per cent in recent years. Furthermore, he reportedly charges Rs 1-5 crore for brand endorsements.

His major portion of wealth comes from his ancestral property, the Pataudi Palace in Haryana spread over 10 acres and houses 150 rooms, valued at around Rs 800 crore.

Inspired by his royal heritage, Khan also launched his clothing brand, House of Pataudi. There are also two production banners, Illuminati Films and Black Knight Films, under him.

Khan's impressive real estate portfolio also includes a luxurious Rs 55 crore apartment in Mumbai's upscale Satguru Sharan. Additionally, the actor owns a lavish Rs 33 crore chalet in Gstaad, Switzerland, one of his favorite travel destinations.

He also owns Tiigers of Kolkata, an ISPL (Indian Street Premier League) team, that won the inaugural season of ISPL in 2024. 

According to GQ India, his luxury vehicle collection boasts a Mercedes-Benz S350 worth Rs 1.71 crore, an Audi Q7 worth Rs 85-95 lakh and a Jeep Wrangler worth Rs 62.64-66.64 lakh.
