PVR Inox Inks Partnership with BCCI to Screen IPL 2025 Matches Live: Check Out the List of Cities

PVR Inox has announced partnership with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to screen Indian Premier League (IPL) matches live. The matches will be streamed across 30+ cities, including tier-2 and tier-3. The development comes at a time when IPL 2025 is set to kickstart and cricket enthusiasts across the globe will be glued to the screens as the 18th edition of IPL will unfold from today.

“We are excited to bring together India’s two greatest passions- cinema and cricket—through IPL screenings, offering an unparalleled viewing experience in a larger-than-life environment,” said PVR INOX CEO (Revenue & Operations), Gautam Dutta. The announcement comes after an overwhelming response received from the audience in the last match screenings that took sports entertainment to the next level, Dutta added.

The shares of the cinema exhibitor company were up by nearly 2% on the national stock exchange in the late trading hours on March 21. This is a significant improvement compared to a month ago when the shares of the company were down by 2.36% to Rs 975.50 and 43% to Rs 975.50 six months ago, respectively. 

PVR Inox financial health has also witnessed an upward trend. The company reported 180% YoY profit growth to Rs 35.9 crore in Q3 FY25, with revenue rising 11.1% YoY to Rs 1,717.3 crore.

As a part of the partnership, screenings will be held in metros and major tier-2 and tier-3 cities across Maharashtra, Gujarat, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and Southern India.
