Started as a food delivery platform, Zomato has now entered a new phase. It’s no longer just a food aggregator. The company is building a network of independent ventures under one structure, from groceries to ticketing and more.
Zomato has restructured under a new parent company called Eternal Ltd, bringing together its key ventures — Zomato (food delivery), Blinkit (quick commerce), Hyperpure (B2B supplies), and District (ticketing).
For Zomato, Blinkit has become an essential part of its focus on quick commerce. In FY24, Blinkit's gross order value jumped over 130%, marking a step in Zomato’s diversification beyond food delivery.
Hyperpure, Zomato’s B2B supply platform for restaurants, grew 96% in Q1 FY24. It provides quality ingredients and strengthens Zomato’s backend ecosystem.
The service offers home-style meals starting at Rs 89, targeting daily meal consumers seeking affordable and simple food options.
In August 2024, Zomato bought Paytm’s entertainment ticketing business, including TicketNew and Insider, for around Rs 2,048 crore ($244 million). Zomato also launched a new app called District, which now handles all movie, event, and dining reservations under one platform.
In April 2023, Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal launched , ‘Continue’ a personal venture focused on health tracking and mental wellness.
In March 2025, Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal invested $20 million in LAT Aerospace, a startup he co-founded with former COO Surobhi Das. The company aims is to build low-cost, short takeoff and landing aircraft to improve regional air travel. Goyal serves as a non-executive co-founder.
