Zomato introduces AI-based platform Nugget

Food delivery giant Zomato on Monday introduced its own AI-based no-code customer support platform ‘Nugget’ which is designed to help businesses scale operations efficiently. The platform, which requires no coding expertise, automates up to 80% of queries and eliminates the need for a dedicated development team.

“Nugget helps businesses scale support effortlessly --- highly customisable, low cost, no dev team needed. No rigid workflows, just seamless automation,” said Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

He stated that Nugget manages over 15 million customer support interactions monthly across Zomato, Blinkit, and Hyperpure. The new age company is making the AI-platform available to businesses globally, with 90% of them have already tested signing it up.

Currently, Zomato is offering Nugget at no cost to companies locked into contracts with traditional providers for the duration of their agreements. Nugget is the debut product from Zomato Labs, the company’s internal innovation hub, with more product launches anticipated in the near future.

Zomato Rebranded As 'Eternal'

A few days ago, Zomato has changed its name to ‘Eternal’ after the company’s board gave its approval for the same, the company said in a stock exchange filing. The app will not be renamed; the new name will only be reflected on the stock ticker.

“Eternal is a powerful name, and to be honest, it scares me to my core because it carries both a promise and a paradox,” said Goyal. He said true permanence isn’t built on bold claims of invincibility or the swagger of success, rather it is forged in the quiet understanding that immortality stems from mortality.

The company’s corporate website will transition from zomato.com to eternal.com. Eternal will comprise four major businesses ---- Zomato, Blinkit, District, and Hyperpure.
