With the completion of 16 years in business, mobile headset manufacturer Lava is venturing into new market segments of consumer electronics. A major player in feature phones, it is also focusing on smartphones and wearables market. In an email interview with Outlook Business, company’s Executive Director Sunil Raina says that though the brand has seen more downs than ups, it remained in the competition due to its focus on building core capabilities and maintaining end-to-end control over the value chain, unlike its competitors.
