Here’s something that will make online shopping seem realistic. Uber co-founder Garrett Camp is taking on e-commerce biggies with his personal-shopping app, Operator, which uses algorithms and human assistants to connect consumers with retail workers who will help them shop. Camp and his co-founder — former Zynga executive Robin Chan — have raised $10 million in funding so far. What next? A fridge that washes clothes?
