Agatha Christie is my favourite author and I’ve read almost all her books. Apart from the plot, I really like the characters she builds — complex and beautifully sketched. She is a brilliant storyteller who can communicate a lot in simple ways. I also like books by PD James and Colin Dexter.

Action is definitely my most favourite genre. I love The Godfather series when it comes to Hollywood and Sholay from Bollywood.

I absolutely enjoy Thai cuisine. It’s so flavourful and always looks aesthetic when served. Thai Pavilion is a great restaurant in Mumbai, and I also like to visit Trishna for some of the best crab you can have.

I am partial towards single malts for the evenings, especially the peaty ones from Islay. During the day, I prefer gin and tonic. There’s such a variety of the spirit available today, and they have so much character. I have quite a selection of gins from various parts of the world.

The best destination I’ve travelled to, so far, is Masai Mara in Kenya. It is such a unique experience to be so close to nature, in the wild and yet in the lap of luxury. When I went there with my family, the highlight was a hot air balloon safari followed by a champagne breakfast in the middle of the reserve.
