The World According to Garp by John Irving is a book I read over and over again. It has a dark and violent undercurrent but at heart, it is a comic and witty story of the child of a feminist writer. It is a wonderful read as it challenges many traditional norms of womanhood.

I love movies grounded in reality such as Masaan and Lipstick Under My Burkha, which depict the contradictions of modern life and how the protagonist confronts them. But Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro by Kundan Shah remains my absolute favourite.

The best and most underrated drink is shikanji. It is light, versatile and enough to bring me back to my energised self when I'm too drained out or stressed.

I absolutely love San Francisco for the diversity and energy packaged within it. It is incredibly easy to get around. One of my best experiences there has been cycling from Fisherman’s Wharf to the Golden Gate Bridge along the bay!

Cycling has to be the best sport for me. A few years ago, I started recreational cycling and realised that it fit well in my fitness regime. Each time I take out my cycle over a weekend, I'm sure to return only after I travel for 15-20 km.
