My Favourite

Atos Wordline South Asia CEO talks about his favourite Hollywood flicks

Like most people, I find movies relaxing. Some of the best movies I have watched are Schindler’s ListThe Lord of the Rings trilogy, Inception and Dark Knight. From the Bollywood stable, I admire Anurag Kashyap’s movies, and I can never forget the great movies made by Raj Kapoor and Guru Dutt, although my all-time favourite Indian movies will remain Mughal-e-Azam and Sholay.

Given my hectic travel schedule, I often end up having hurried working lunches and dinners. So I fancy taking some time off to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. And when I travel, especially when I am in France, I love an unhurried French meal in restaurants and cafés with great views. But all said and done, nothing comes close to home-cooked food and I absolutely adore my wife’s Sindhi kadhi and sai bhaji, a classic Sindhi dish with spinach and vegetables. For beverages, I am a big fan of vintage wines from California’s Napa Valley.

I have a keen ear for music and appreciate most genres. My favourite is rock music and I sincerely believe Freddie Mercury and Jethro Tull have been the greatest boon to this genre.
