I am fond of thrillers and war epics. The Guns Of Navarone by Alistair Maclean is one of the best books of World War II. When it comes to historical books, Exodus by Leon Uris chronicles the history of the Jews and formation of Israel beautifully. I also like The Old Neighborhood by Avery Corman, about a successful advertising executive, who gives up everything to return to his old neighborhood to live back his childhood years.

I enjoy English classics. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Graduate, Sound of Music and Gone with the Wind are evergreen movies that I can watch anytime. While I enjoy Bollywood movies too, my favorites are from the '70s like Chupke ChupkeSwamiSholayAnand and Deewar

I am a fan of football and cricket. There was a time when I watched all matches, no matter the league or the team. Now, I try to watch late night matches.

Eggs are my all-time favorite but there’s nothing better than crunchy, freshly-cut vegetables stir-fried or simply garnished in olive oil and herbs.

While my garden is my favourite getaway, I also prefer the serenity offered by the forests and the hills. There are some great mountain trails in North India. Among the cities, it will have to be Venice for its charming character, narrow streets, beautiful canals, spectacular squares and no cars! I also love London, Berlin and Paris for their rich history and iconic landmarks.
