GoKwik Raises $13 Mn from RTP Global, Peak XV, Other Investors

Ecommerce enabler GoKwik has raised $13 million funds in a growth round led by existing investor RTP Global. Other investors, including Z47, Peak XV Partners and Think Investments also participated in the round that brought the total funding amount at $68 million so far.

The fresh capital will be used to accelerate GoKwik’s international expansion and fast-track R&D across its AI-first commerce stack. The start-up is doubling down on its vision to build a deeply integrated suite of solutions that don’t just solve problems, but create exponential growth opportunities for ecommerce brands globally.

AI is not an add-on for us, it is the operating system that powers every experience we create,” said Chirag Taneja, cofounder and CEO of GoKwik.

Founded in 2020, GoKwik is redefining commerce enablement with an AI-powered platform that eliminates checkout friction, boosts conversions, and personalises engagement at scale. Brands like Mamaearth, Man Matters, Plix, Libas, and Shoppers Stop are leveraging GoKwik for processing regular transactions.

The New Delhi-based start-up claims to have helped brands generating over $2 billion in gross merchandise value (GMV) and maintaining 100% year-on-year growth. Its WhatsApp commerce offering has also expanded globally, with close to 100 merchants reportedly using the solution in the UK alone.

GoKwik posted a revenue of ₹94.7 crore for FY24, while its net loss during the same period was ₹72 crore, according to data from Tofler. The start-up operates in the competitive ecommerce enablement space, where it faces rivals like GlobalBees, Delhivery, Shiprocket, and Shadowfax.

The start-up had also acquired a couple of platforms, including Return Prime and Tellephant, to enter new markets.
