The Oil Ministry has invited applications for the post of chairman and managing director (CMD) of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL).
Applications are open until October 21, with selection to be conducted by a search-cum-selection committee (SCSC).
PESB had earlier interviewed 12 candidates for the role but found none suitable, leading to the formation of the SCSC.
The panel includes PESB chairperson Mallika Srinivasan, Oil Secretary Pankaj Jain, and former HPCL CMD MK Surana.
BPCL’s previous CMD, G Krishnakumar, retired on April 30; Sanjay Khanna, Director (Refineries), holds additional charge as CMD.
