The second day of the 3rd edition of the India Energy Week witnessed several agreements and Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) being signed.

Addressing the media on the sidelines of the second day of India Energy Week 2025, the Secretary at the MoPNG Pankaj Jain said, "We will be working at AI solutions which will be deployed at scale within the Indian oil and gas industry."
The suggestion for the AI Mission came in one of the rounds of bilateral discussions that was held on Wednesday. "I am very thankful to the the Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri for promptly agreeing to this", the Secretary added.
While addressing the inaugural session of the energy week event on Tuesday, the Minister had noted that three forces will play a critical role in shaping the energy landscape of the coming years. “Artificial intelligence (AI) and clean cooking are emerging as major energy demand drivers, each shaping the future of economies in the future,” he stated.
The second day of the 3rd edition of the India Energy Week which is being held in Delhi’s Yashobhoomi convention centre witnessed several agreements and Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) being signed.
Among some of the key takeaways shared by the Union Minister from the second day of the event, one was the great deal of interest shown in the Indian experience on clean cooking fuel. From 140 million LPG connections in 2014, India currently has 330 million of them.
The Minister further stated that between now and the fourth edition of the India Energy Week, which will take place in Goa in February 2026, the Ministry will have a game plan and timelines on how affordable and clean cooking medium can be further progressed amongst other countries.
The event which will be hosted till February 14 in the national capital will witness collaboration among global energy leaders, policymakers, innovators and industry experts.
