Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, part of the Axiom-4 space mission, said the 18-day stay in space opened doors for India’s microgravity research.
He conducted experiments linked to Gaganyaan, India’s space station project, and future manned missions, including work on tardigrades, myogenesis, seeds, cyanobacteria, microalgae, and Voyager Display.
Researchers in India are now assessing the results, marking a first step toward broader access to microgravity platforms.
