AI Meets Payroll Banking: Alldigi-OneBanc Join Hands to Serve Indian Corporates

Alldigi tech has partnered with OneBanc to provide an AI-based payroll banking solution to corporate. The collaboration will focus on the payroll-banking market which is estimated to be $30 billion across 120 million salaried professionals in India. Payroll banking straddles HR tech, open banking and merchants.

Under the partnership, the duo ensures automation, compliance, reduced operation expenses for corporates, and personalised employee experiences through AI (artificial intelligence) technology.

In simple words, this collaboration automates payroll, tax benefits, declarations, bill submissions, reimbursements, and expense claims while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency. Integrating these services leads to improved employee retention, stronger employer branding, and a hassle-free experience for employers and employees, the company said.

As per the research data quoted by the company’s official statement, corporate reported an estimated $5 billion losses annually due to manual errors, inefficiencies, and operational delays across the world. In addition, non-compliance with regulatory standard costs companies $7 billion per year in fines, legal fees, and reputational damage.

Besides helping corporate, the payroll banking will also help banks to address the threat of mule accounts – a critical area under RBI (Reserve Bank of India)’s scanner since frauds linked to mule accounts, that is, about 55% of all frauds in India.
