Foreign portfolio investors injected over ₹15,157 crore into Indian equities in July after four consecutive months of heavy selling.
Improving domestic macroeconomic indicators, a stable rupee, and better global risk sentiment supported the market turnaround.
Prior to July, foreign investors withdrew ₹49,340 crore in June, ₹32,963 crore in May, ₹60,847 crore in April, and ₹1.17 lakh crore in March.
