The company recently opened its first India store in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex, selling the China-made Model Y at around ₹60 lakh.
Tesla also leased 33,000+ sq ft in Orchid Business Park, Gurugram, for a service centre and sales outlet, at ₹40 lakh/month rent with 4.75% annual escalation and a 3-year lock-in.
Both leases were registered in late July 2025, reflecting Tesla’s accelerated India entry strategy.
