India's primary market is heading into another packed week, with 12 companies set to launch their initial public offerings (IPOs) worth a combined ₹3,742 crore between August 24 and August 28.
India's primary market is heading into another packed week, with 12 companies set to launch their initial public offerings (IPOs) worth a combined ₹3,742 crore between August 24 and August 28.
The busy primary-market schedule will coincide with the listing of nine companies on the stock exchanges, including six from the mainboard segment, keeping investor activity elevated across both mainboard and SME platforms.
The week began on August 24 with five IPOs opening for public subscription, including three mainboard issues - Symbiotec Pharmalab, Hy-Tech Engineers and Skyways Air Services - along with SME offerings from Madhur Knit Crafts and ABH Healthcare.
Contract development and manufacturing organisation Symbiotec Pharmalab is looking to raise ₹1,757 crore at the upper end of its ₹938-988 price band. The issue comprises a fresh share sale of ₹150 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) worth ₹1,607 crore by existing shareholders.
Hydraulic fittings maker Hy-Tech Engineers is raising ₹135.7 crore through a combination of a ₹60 crore fresh issue and an OFS worth ₹75.7 crore. The company has fixed a price band of ₹50-53 per share.
Logistics and freight forwarding company Skyways Air Services is targeting ₹582.8 crore through its maiden public issue. The IPO comprises a fresh issue of ₹398.8 crore and an OFS worth ₹184 crore, with the price band set at ₹131-138 per share.
The SME segment also saw Madhur Knit Crafts and ABH Healthcare open their issues on August 24. The companies are looking to raise ₹53.3 crore and ₹35 crore, respectively.
The activity will continue on August 25, when EPC company Annu Projects and auto ancillary manufacturer Sumax Engineering open their IPOs.
Annu Projects plans to raise ₹175 crore at a price band of ₹94-99 per share, while Sumax Engineering is targeting ₹53.4 crore at ₹95-101 per share.
The mainboard IPO calendar will remain active through the second half of the week.
Lumino Industries, which manufactures conductors, power cables, electrical wires and specialised products for the power transmission and distribution industry, will open its ₹700-crore IPO on August 27. The company has fixed a price band of ₹78-82 per share.
Priority Jewels, a diamond-studded gold and platinum jewellery maker, will follow on August 28 with a ₹91.5-crore issue. Its price band has been set at ₹190-200 per share.
Among SME offerings, Kwick Forensic Solutions will open its ₹51-crore IPO on August 27 at ₹85-90 per share.
Complete Sports & Management India and Paluck Technologies will launch their issues on August 28, seeking to raise ₹75 crore and ₹33 crore, respectively.
Meanwhile, Tempsens Instruments (India) will close its ₹650-crore IPO on August 24, followed by Augmont Enterprises' ₹825-crore issue on August 25.
The IPO activity will also translate into a busy listing calendar, with nine companies scheduled to make their stock-market debut during the week.
Lalithaa Jewellery Mart and Horizon Industrial Parks listed on the BSE and NSE on August 24, while Fascinate Textiles made its debut on the NSE Emerge platform.
Sunshine Pictures and Shankesh Jewellers are scheduled to list on August 25, followed by Gaja Capital on August 26 and Tempsens Instruments (India) on August 28.
The SME segment will see Dhanwel Hybrid Seeds and Mopshop Distribution make their debut on the BSE SME platform on August 26.
The combination of fresh IPOs and new listings is set to keep India's primary market firmly in focus this week, with companies across healthcare, engineering, logistics, jewellery, manufacturing and other sectors seeking to tap investor demand.
