SEA (India), APOA, and Indonesia’s IPOA signed a three-year MoU to strengthen palm oil trade and cooperation.
IPOA will provide India with technical know-how and trade support to boost palm oil industry growth.
The partnership aims to ensure stable palm oil supply, promote sustainability, and enhance regional cooperation.
India’s palm oil imports rose 16% in August to 9.9 lakh tonnes, the highest in over a year.
Leaders said the MoU will help secure affordable, high-quality supplies and build consumer awareness on sustainable palm oil.
