Under the partnership, PNB will offer the PNB LUXURA Metal Credit Card for Army officers and the PNB Parakram Credit Card for Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and other ranks personnel.
The cards will offer a range of lifestyle and financial benefits, including 3% cashback on purchases at Canteen Stores Department (CSD) outlets, complimentary domestic and international airport lounge access, zero forex markup, and Buy One Get One movie ticket offers, Punjab National Bank (PNB) said in a statement.
The cards will also provide complimentary golf lessons and other reward and lifestyle benefits.
PNB Parakram Credit Card features a biodegradable card design, offering an environmentally conscious alternative, it said.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed at the Indian Army Headquarters in Delhi by Maj Gen VK Purohit and PNB General Manager, Credit Card Division, Deepak Kumar.
The signing ceremony was attended by senior Army and PNB officials, including Lt Gen Viresh Pratap Singh Kaushik, Lt Gen Rajeev Puri, PNB MD and CEO Ashok Chandra, and PNB Chief General Manager Sudhir Dalal.
Speaking on the occasion, Chandra said, "PNB shares a deep-rooted association with the Indian Armed Forces, built on mutual trust, respect and a shared commitment to the nation. Through the partnership, PNB is extending its relationship with the Armed Forces by offering financial products designed around the requirements of Army personnel".
The partnership reinforces its commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community by providing products that combine convenience, value and lifestyle privileges, it added.
