Hyundai Motor launched a special task force on Thursday to deal with tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump with an aim to minimise the impact on the financial health of the company. It is mulling to move production of some US-bound cars from South Korea to other locations and increase local sourcing of car components in the US. The South Korean automaker mentioned that manufacturing of some Tucson crossovers has now been shifted from Mexico to the US to avoid tariff heat, Reuters reported.
