Birlasoft Names Vikram Puranik As Chief Operating Officer

IT firm Birlasoft on Thursday announced the appointment of Vikram Puranik as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately.

Based in Pune, Puranik will work on strengthening Birlasoft's global delivery and innovation agenda, driving operational excellence, margin expansion, and productivity transformation, the company said in a statement.

He holds over 25 years of experience, most recently having served as as Chief of Engineering Delivery and Operations, and P&L Owner at GlobalLogic.

Part of the CKA Birla Group, Birlasoft has over 12,000 employees.
