"We are now one of the very few global companies that are not reacting to the future but are prepared for it," Adani said.

Adani told shareholders the conglomerate expanded its integrated infrastructure platforms across energy, transport, logistics, and manufacturing despite recent challenges.

"While others debated, your group built," Adani said.

Three Operational Pillars

The first initiative simplifies organisational structures into a three-tiered management system spanning headquarters and field locations. This move aims to reduce bureaucracy and ensure each role creates measurable value.

The second initiative reimagines relations with contractors and partners. The group intends to protect partner interests and empower them to ensure faster, transparent project delivery.

The third initiative targets worker welfare and dignity for nearly 400,000 associates. Approximately 85 per cent of these individuals work at project sites and industrial facilities.

"We are committed to ensuring that every worker is treated with dignity," Adani said, adding that the group is focused on providing clean living conditions, quality food, medical support, and fair wages.

Record Infrastructure Spending

The Adani Group invested more than ₹1.5 trillion in infrastructure during FY26. This spending accounted for over 30% of all new private-sector capital expenditure in India. Adani described the spending as a financial milestone and a reflection of the group's long-term conviction in India's growth story.

"This progress did not come in calm conditions for us. It came in the middle of extraordinary scrutiny. However, we did not bend. We did not pause," Adani said.

The group faced significant external challenges before resolving its US legal issues. In May 2026, the US Securities and Exchange Commission reached an $18 million civil settlement with the company.

Simultaneously, the US Department of Justice permanently dropped all criminal charges against the conglomerate.

Expanding Defence Capabilities

The company is building a national aerospace platform spanning manufacturing, maintenance, repair and overhaul, services, and pilot training.

The group's drones, anti-drone systems, missiles, and ammunition supported the Indian armed forces during Operation Sindoor. Adani said this deployment demonstrated the capabilities of India's indigenous defence sector.

"Technology and infrastructure became inseparable from national sovereignty in FY26," Adani said.
