This web-based AI-powered research product allows finance and sustainability executives perform research and manage knowledge on financial reporting and ESG matters. It leverages technology and deep domain expertise to enhance the productivity and effectiveness of research and knowledge management by users.
The ‘Ask UniQuest AI’ feature enables users to query the platform and get detailed insights. UniQuest employs techniques like Natural Language Processing (NLP), semantic analysis, and machine learning along with a customized knowledge bank to deliver highly relevant responses on financial reporting and ESG topics with speed. The focused interactive search results on a range of topics enable users to get the right outcomes on topics of interest.
Oracle’s ‘2022 ESG Global Study’ by Oracle, which had over 11,000 participants from 15 countries, shows that 89% of business leaders believe that companies using tech for sustainability are more likely to succeed. 93% of them acknowledge technology's crucial role in enhancing corporate sustainability and 94% advocate the use of technology in ensuring data accuracy, automating data collection across sectors, planning and revising sustainability targets based on performance, and automating report generation.

With its document chat feature, users can upload their own PDF documents and engage in dynamic discussions within the platform. UniQuest helps identify key data points, extract specific information, or generate summaries with ease and efficiency.
The platform includes an intuitive note-taking feature that provides an integrated platform to create, edit and organize documents to consolidate all relevant data points in one central location.

Uniqus Consultech specializes in ESG and accounting and reporting consulting. Co-founded by consulting veterans Khatri and Khetan, it is backed by marquee investors such as Nexus Venture Partners, Sorin Investments, and other angel investors. Anu Chaudhary, a global ESG specialist with over 20 years of experience, serves as the Global Head of ESG.
In December 2022, the tech-enabled consulting company raised $12.5 million in Series A funding for a minority stake sale. Nexus Venture Partners, a Silicon Valley-India VC firm with multiple investments in Indian start-ups including Delhivery, Postman, Zepto and Turtlemint, led the round.
The funding also marked the first investment for Sorin Investments, an early-stage tech fund founded by former chairman of KKR India Sanjay Nayar. Other business leaders who participated in the capital raise included Pirojsha Godrej, Anant Goenka, Apoorva Patni, Keki Mistry, Ranu Vohra, Dhanpal Jhaveri, Vijay Malhotra, Bala Swaminathan, and Sridar Iyengar.
Uniqus, which has operations in the US, India, and the Middle East acquired the global ESG business of Goodera last December. Post the acquisition, Goodera’s ESG tech platform was renamed ESG UniVerse and Uniqus acquired marquee global ESG clients using Goodera’s ESG platform as well as their clientele.
