I love Munich, as it offers a unique combination of history, culture and business. The breathtaking view of the nearby Bavarian Alps, coupled with several fairy-tale castles, makes any visit to Germany’s third-largest city memorable. Not to mention the outstanding food and famous   Bavarian hospitality.

The Moneychangers by Arthur Hailey is my all-time favourite. The brilliant plot and carefully-drawn characters makes this work of fiction a must-read for all financial services professionals.

The high energy and fast pace of football is as much fun to watch on television as it is on the ground. It’s also a great way to unwind after a busy day at work. 

Rabindra Sangeet is a particular favourite. I also enjoy old Hindi film songs from the 1960s and 1970s, particularly those sung by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhonsle.

While I prefer the traditional Bengali dishes cooked at home, I also enjoy Chinese and Continental cuisine.
