On my last visit to Dubai, in June this year, I had a whale of a time at the autodrome, zipping down the tracks in F1 replicas. My favourite eating place in the city is Zuma, the Japanese restaurant, but I feel that London offers a lot more by way of entertainment for adults and children. I had a great time at the Olympics closing ceremony there and the Michelin-starred Kai restaurant at Mayfair is a great place for vegetarians like me.

Indian cinema of the 1980s has been my favourite as I grew up watching films of this period and they are firmly imprinted in my psyche. I grew up watching films like Ek Duuje Ke Liye, Naseeb and Silsila, and Hollywood classics such as Raging Bull, ET and Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. I still love watching thespians like Amitabh Bachchan and Tom Hanks in action.
