The upgraded Siri will let users combine tasks in one request such as checking the weather, creating a calendar event and sending a message. This reduces the need for separate commands and simplifies everyday interactions.

The updated Siri is expected to summarise information from the web through Apple’s World Knowledge Answers programme. It may also use personal data like messages, notes and emails to provide more relevant responses.
