Looking to shake a leg or just dance away the blues, but in style? A line of exclusive, luxury clubs across the country are offering everything from customised services to personally designed menus, handcrafted beverages and specially designed décor.

Housed inside The Lalit, super chic nightclub Kitty Su offers music from top-paid international artists including Justin Oh and Afrojack. “Our club is totally about music,” says Keshav Suri, executive director of the Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, who has taken the club to Delhi, Mumbai and Chandigarh.

Replete with earthy shades, dark wooden floors, feature lighting and a high-end sound system, a table for eight in Kitty Su’s “House of Commons” costs Rs.45,000 a night. The exclusive “List” section starts at Rs.75,000 and goes up to Rs.1 lakh a night, with additional cover charges, and premium beverages.

Another popular destination on the map is Trilogy in Mumbai, which offers VIP tables at Rs.50,000 per night. “At Trilogy, each night the music is curated differently,” says director Keenan Tham, adding how their music isn’t restricted to only DJs but artists like Elijah Wood and violinist-DJ Helixy. “DJ Bobkat, who just played with Coldplay and Adele at Glastonbury 2016, London also performed at Trilogy recently,” he adds.

Sky and water

It’s not just music these clubs are offering. A rooftop bar shaped as a spaceship on the 34th floor of the Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai, with a panoramic view of the city and the sea, Aer offers the perfect ambience for a good evening. Its specially crafted beverage menu includes cocktails made with natural ingredients, which can be personalised. These start at Rs.1,500 along with taxes and go up to Rs.4,000 with taxes for a group. “Aer is the biggest stress buster for people. It becomes the perfect atmosphere to look at the sun setting on the Arabian Sea,” says Prekshi Salwan, brand manager at Aer Bar and Lounge. Access to the view comes at a minimum spend of Rs.50,000. For a group of 8-12 people, it can go up to Rs.2 lakh.

Inside the plush Le Meridien hotel in Gurgaon, I-Kandy orchestrates exclusive poolside parties, serving cocktails and mocktails, priced up to Rs.4,000, prepared by expert mixologists. They also have a fix for the winters, ensuring the experience isn’t marred. “During winters, people are hesitant to enter the pool because of the weather. For such times, the temperature-controlled swimming pool ensures they can enjoy pool parties,” says Anirban Dasgupta, manager, Restaurants and Bars at Le Meridien. A table for six during a performance by the club’s top 40 DJs costs Rs.60,000 while a table for 10 costs Rs.1,00,000.

The next time you want to dance away the heartache…dance away the tears…or just dance away, you know where to go.
